Hello everyone,
Thanks to Philip for linking me up with another fantastic interview of Jamie in regards to his role in Defiance.
MoviesOnline sat down to talk with Jamie Bell at the Los Angeles press day for his new movie, “Defiance,” directed by Ed Zwick from a screenplay by Zwick and Clay Frohman, based on Nechama Tec’s non-fiction book of the same name.
The young English actor burst onto the scene with his tour de force performance in the title role of “Billy Elliot,” for which he won the Best Actor award at the BAFTAs and the Best Newcomer Award for the British Film Independent Awards. He went on to join an all-star cast in Douglas McGrath’s “Nicholas Nickleby.” He then played lead roles in David Gordon Green’s “Undertow” opposite Dermot Mulroney and Josh Lucas and award winning director Thomas Vinterberg’s “Dear Wendy.” He also starred in “Chumbscrubber” opposite Ralph Fiennes and Glenn Close and then went on to Peter Jackson’s “King Kong.” Bell next worked with Clint Eastwood on “Flags of Our Fathers” and, most recently, he appeared in the quirky indie, “Hallam Foe,” for David Mckenzie and the sci-fi thriller “Jumper,” for director Doug Liman.

Other than that, I am finally home and back in Australia, so expect a new layout! Also, happy new year everyone!
