I have no idea why, but yesterday Jamie Bell Online had an enormous amount of visitors coming to the site. Maybe I missed something? I don’t know, haha. But anyway! Looks like Jamie has signed to a new upcoming film called “Defiance”.

Liev Schreiber and Jamie Bell have joined the cast of the World War Two resistance movie Defiance starring Daniel Craig.

The movie, based on actual events, revolves around Jewish brothers (Craig, Schreiber and Bell) living in Nazi-occupied Poland who escape into the Belarussian forest where they join Russian resistance fighters. Throughout the war, they build a village inside the forest and save the lives of more than 1,200 Jews. Alexa Davalos has also signed to play a Polish refugee and the love interest of Craig’s character. Tomas Arana will play Ben Zion, a skilled leader in the resistance. Ed Zwick wrote and will direct for Paramount Vantage based on Nechama Tec’s book “Defiance: The Bielski Partisans”.
